Miss Shirley Tieman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Tieman Jr., of the Town of Butler (Clark Co., Wis.) and Theron Pagel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Pagel of the Town of Withee, were united in marriage at the Lutheran Parsonage at Withee on Saturday, May 25, 1946, Rev. Stadler performed the ceremony.

The bride was attired in a white gown fashioned with short sleeves, a high neckline and a full skirt with lace trim. She wore a fingertip veil caught to a beaded headdress and carried a bouquet of pink and white carnations with lily of the valley and white streamers. For jewelry she wore a single strand of pearls, a gift of the groom.

She chose as her bridesmaid, her sister, Cadet Arlene Tieman. The bridesmaid wore a gown of blue ninon with blue flowers in her hair. She carried an arm bouquet of pink and white carnations with pink streamers. Her jewelry consisted of a single strand of pearls, the gift of the bride.

The groom was attended by his brother, Fred Pagel, who wore a brown suit with a white carnation in his lapel. The groom also wore brown with a white carnation.

Mr. Tieman chose a black dress for her daughter’s wedding and wore a bouquet of white roses.

Mrs. Pagel Wore a check grey ensemble and her bouquet was of white roses. Mr. Tieman and Mr. Pagel wore blue and brown suits, respectively, and white carnations.
