South Janesville - by Mrs. Roger Dillenbeck

The Willing Workers held their annual picnic Sunday at the Janesville school.

Mr. and Mrs. August Podobnik and family spent Saturday morning in Neillsville.

Mary Ann Parkel is spending a few weeks in Milwaukee visiting her aunts.

Mr. and Mrs. Martin Merlak and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Merlack spent Sunday evening at the John Susa home.

Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Baughman and Roger Dillenbeck spent last Monday evening at the Ivan Ruzic home.

Glen Drew is painting the Janesville school.

A large crowd attended the picnic at the August Podobnick home. The occasion was the birthday of August and Emil Podobnic and Ernest Arch.

Betty Hatton had the misfortune of being kicked by a horse while helping her father Thursday.
