West Levis - by Gladys Beeckler

He was sick but a short time, although he was almost entirely blind. Mr. French came with his parents to the town of Levis when a small boy. Here he grew to manhood and was married to Hattie Wedding. They lived on the Ehlers arm for several years, then moved to California, where he has resided ever since. He leaves several children and grandchildren to mourn his death. He was buried beside his wife, who preceded him in death several years ago.
