Kathryn M. Romang, 94, Athens, died Saturday, Dec. 22, 2007, at Colonial Center, Colby, Wis.

She was born Feb. 6, 1913, in Athens, daughter of the late Adam and Edith (Wood) Young. On June 1, 1938, she married Edward Romang in Dubuque, Iowa. He preceded her in death Feb. 22, 1989.

Survivors include one brother, Eugene Young, Amarillo, Texas; and many nieces, nephews and relatives. Besides her parents and husband, Edward, she was preceded in death her daughter, June; one brother, Ralph Young; and three sisters, Buelah Harder, Ruth Wilhelm and Marjorie Bohner.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 17, 2008, at Christ United Church, Athens. The Rev. Kenneth A. Dix will officiate. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of services Saturday at the church.

Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Athens, is in charge of arrangements.
