Allen, Susan (1881? - 20 May 1945)

Mrs. Susan Allen suffered a stroke and died Sunday, May 20. Her funeral was held last Wednesday, with the Rev. Nancy Mitschelen of Stanley officiating. The Women’s Relief Corps attended in a body, as Mrs. Allen had been a member of that organization 30 years.

Mrs. Allen was born 64 years ago to Mr. and Mrs. S. S. Warner near Eidsvold. She has spent all of her life in the Thorp vicinity. Her husband, W. R. Allen, died more than 15 years ago. Two sisters have died in the past two years. She leaves an older brother, William Warner, who had resided with her, and several nieces and nephews. Internment was in the Stanley cemetery.
