Turenne, Eleanor (2 OCT 1946)

Miss Eleanor Turenne, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Turenne, Town of Reseburg (Clark Co., Wis.), and Stanley Lobacz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Lobacz, Greenwood (Clark Co.), were married at nine o’clock, Wednesday morning, Oct. 2nd, 1946 at the St. Bernard’s Church. Rev. A.M. Muckerheide performed the double ring ceremony.

The bride was attired in a powder blue suit with light brown accessories. Her corsage was of white roses and white pompons.

Miss Turenne was attended by her sister, Grace, as bridesmaid who was attired in a taupe suit with brown accessories. Her corsage was of roses and yellow pompons.

The groom was attended by Geo. Lobacz.

The bride’s mother was attired in brown and her corsage was of red roses and white and brown pompons. The groom’s mother was attired in blue with red roses and white and brown pompons.

After the ceremony, a dinner was served at the Soo Hotel and at four o’clock lunch was served at the bride’s home for about fifty guests. A wedding dance was given that evening at the American Legion Hall music furnished by Emil Kodl and his Band.

Out of town guests attending were: Miss Betty Turenne, Miss Helen Lobacz, Joe Lobacz, Mike Lobacz, Mrs. Joe Jaskot and Jerry, all of Chicago, Mr. and Mrs. George Lockbaum and daughter Irene of Chippewa Falls; Mr. and Mrs. John Lobacz and sons of Withee.
