Nowak, Loretta (16 NOV 1946)

Miss Loretta Nowak, daughter of Mrs. S. Nowak of 2525 N. Mango Ave., Chicago, Ill., became the bride of Frank Laszuk, son of Mrs. Chester Mikolajczyk of Gilman, Wis., in a ten o’clock ceremony at St. John Bosco Church, Chicago, on Nov. 16, 1946.

The couple was attended by Florian Mikolajczyk and Alice Nowak, and Alois Teclaw and Laurie Tesmer. The bridesmaids were attired in yellow nylon and blue nylon respectively, and carried bouquets of bronze mums. Miss Nowak wore a headdress of yellow plumes and Miss Tesmer blue.

The flower girl, Judy Zienk, wore a dress of white nylon with a white plume headdress, and carried a colonial bouquet of baby mums.

The bride was beautifully gowned in chiffon velvet, with 3-yard train, neckline brocaded with tiny sea pearls. Her long train fell from a headpiece crown of pearls. She carried a bouquet of gardenias and orchid.

The groom and his attendants wore tuxedoes and a white rose boutonniere.

After the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bride’s mother and festivities took place at Sommer’s Hall, 3349 N. Lavergne, where they will be at home to their many friends.

Persons from Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) who attended the wedding were Mesdames Jeanette Milewski, Estelle Larson, F.P. Neiman, and Mr. Alois Teclaw; from Gilman were Mrs. Lottie Mikoluczyk?, daughter of Irena and Florian, and Mrs. Manley ??.
