Gil Vandercook, who has been connected with the Phonograph office for the past year and a half severed that connection last Thursday. Gil and his brother Ed will become proprietors of the Spencer Tribune and launch upon the sea of journalism on their own hook. Ed is a good paragrapher and Gil can catch on to now and then a local and is not slow among the types, therefore they are almost sure of success, of which we wish them an abundance.
