Miss Dolores Kathleen Pieper, Columbus, Wis., exchanged wedding vows with Grant Winfield Herrick Jr., also of Columbus, son of Mr. and Mrs. Grant Herrick, Curtiss (Clark Co., Wis.), in a wedding ceremony which took place at the home of the bride, Sunday afternoon, June 17, 1945, at 2:30 o’clock. Bouquets of peonies, iris and ferns decorated the house for the occasion. The Rev. Francis S. Foulke of Columbus, officiated, and the bride’s sister, Miss Shirley Jean Pieper, who served as maid of honor, sang "I Love You Truly: and "O Promise Me." Ralph Peterson, Curtiss, a brother-in-law of the groom, was best man.

The bride chose a cream white suit with a matching chapeau veiled in brown, for her wedding attire. She completed her costume with brown accessories and white gloves and had a corsage of yellow roses and sweet peas pinned to her shoulder. Her sister wore a lime colored frock with all white accessories and a shoulder bouquet of white carnations and daisies.

Following the ceremony covers were laid for 30 guests at luncheon at the Pieper home decorated with white and yellow crepe paper streamers and white wedding bells.

After a brief wedding trip to Milwaukee the couple will be at their home to friends at 436 S. Ludington St., Columbus, where Mr. Herrick is employed as a dairy worker. He was graduated from the Owen High School with the class of 1941. Mrs. Herrick is a graduate of the Columbus High School this spring, has been employed at Schultz Brothers Store for one and a half years.
