Kraut, Marie #2 (27 MAY 1855 - 20 JUN 1945)

Funeral services for Mrs. Marie Kraut, age 90, who passed away on June 20, 1945, were conducted at the Curtiss Evangelical and Reformed Church on Saturday afternoon. The Rev. John C. Klingeberger of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.) officiated and burial was made in the Green Grove Cemetery.

Mrs. Alfred Thompson and Mrs. DuWayne Bulgrin, accompanied by Elaine Jakel, sang. The flower girls were evelyn Fahrenbach, Kathryn Peterson, Myrtle Hoff, Loretta Smith and Emily Ann Hennlich. Pallbearers were Bill Klessig, Ray Klessig, Hary Piessig, Charles jakel, Ervin Koerner and Henry Peterson.

Mrs. Kraut is survived by one daughter, Miss Bertha Kraut, at home, and two sons, Arthur at home, and Leo of Yakima, Wash. There are 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends from away who attended the rites were Mrs. Willard Zuelke, Mrs. Leo Kraut, Jr., Madison, Mr. and Mrs. Ned Law, Mr. and Mrs. Art Stratford, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Sorenson, Longwood, Mrs. Gorton Borland, Colby, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Horn, Miss Martha Horn, Greenwood, Mrs. Bertha Karsten, Abbotsford, Mrs. Herman Moeller and Mrs. Clara Kraut, Chicago.
