Drewelow, Maxine Alymra (14 Feb. 1928 - 1 June 2008)

Maxine A. Drewelow

NEILLSVILLE -- Maxine Almyra Drewelow, age 80, of Neillsville, died Sunday, June 1, 2008, at the Memorial Health and Rehabilitation Center in Neillsville.

A Memorial Mass for Maxine will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 7, 2008, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Neillsville. Interment will be in the Northern Wisconsin Veteran's Cemetery in Spooner at a later date.

A gathering for family and friends will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., Saturday at the church.

The Gesche Funeral Home is assisting Maxine's family with arrangements.

Maxine was born on Feb. 14, 1928, in Minneapolis, Minn., to Max and Evelyn (Nelson) Hoppe. She was united in marriage to Arlow W. Drewelow on June 7, 1947, in Minneapolis.

She is survived by six children, Michelle Drewelow, Canton, Michael (Kathy) Drewelow, Moorehead, Minn., Patrick (Linda) Drewelow, Princeton, Minn., Bonnie (Miles) Petersen, Phillips, Joseph Drewelow, Montrose, Minn., and Robert (Renee) Drewelow, Albertville, Minn. She is also survived by a brother, Richard Hoppe.
