Lehmann, Dolores (Marriage - 23 June 1945)

Miss Dolores Lehmann, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Lehmann of Granton, became the bride of Rudy Dageforde, White Bear, Minn., a former resident of Marshfield and the son of Mrs. Ida Dageforde, St. Paul, Minn., on Saturday, June 23, at 2 p.m. Rev. William Lauterbach read the double-ring ceremony. The bride was given in marriage by her father.

The bride was attended by her sister, Miss June Lehmann, Granton. Best man was Ted Dageforde, Marshfield, the groom’s brother. Other attendants were Lt. Ramon Lehmann, a brother of the bride, stationed at Camp Crowder, Mo., and his fiancée, Miss Ruth Spry.

The bride wore a satin gown styled with a sweetheart neckline and sleeves pointed over the wrist. She wore a three-strand necklace of pearls, a gift of the groom. Her flowers were white gladioli.

Dinner was served at the home of the bride’s parents for 125 guests. A reception also was held there and that evening a shower and dance were held at the Granton hall.
