Mrs. George Kershaw died Monday, Jan. (must be Dec.) 23rd, 1901, at 9 a.m., at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. George Short, in Washburn (Clark Co., Wis.), of pneumonia. She was well advance in years, and had lived a life of faithfulness and devotion to every duty. She was highly esteemed wherever known; and leaves as a heritage the example of a life well spent. She leaves, besides Mrs. Short, another daughter, Mrs. Jos. Richmond of Milton.
