Christie, Anna Martha (3 Oct. 1889 - Nov. 1945)

Funeral services for Mrs. John D. Christie, 56, will be held on November 22, at St. Stephen’s church at Schofield, followed by services at Lyke’s chapel in Oconomowoc, where internment will take place.

Anna Martha Christie was born in the town of Lynn on October 3, 1889, to August and Emma Teatz. Later the family moved to Oconomowoc. At an early age she was employed in various state and county institutions.

On December 5, 1923, she was married at Schofield to John L. Christie, who preceded her in death.

After her husband’s death she made her home on the Christie homestead near Schofield.

She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. August Teatz, three sisters, Alvina Deegan, Brodhead; Minnie Furlong, Schofield; Hilda Campbell, Sullivan.
