Wilson, Marie (14 FEB 1942)

Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Wilson of Detroit, Mich., formerly of the town of York, announce the marriage of their daughter, Marie, to Gordon Mulholland of Detroit on Feb. 14.

The bride was attired in navy blue with accessories to match. She wore a corsage of Gardenias. Norine Nugent, a friend, attended the bride. She wore a yellow dress and a corsage of carnations.

The groom wore a navy blue suit and a carnation boutonniere. He was attended by William Collins.

Covers were laid for 75 guests at the home of the bride’s parents. A reception was held in the evening, many beautiful gifts being presented to the couple.

Mrs. Mulholland is well known in this community. She was graduated from the Granton high school with the class of 1940.

Out of town guests were: Louie Wilson, Gordon Campbell and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Anderegg of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Mrs. Mulholland is the niece of Mrs. William Buelow of York.

The young couple will make their home in Detroit.

Our best wishes go to this young couple.
