Kloppenburg, William (14 MAR 1890 - 29 JAN 1933)

William Kloppenburg was born in Germany, March 14, 1890, and at the age of 15 came to Abbotsford, traveling alone from his home country. He resided at Abbotsford until 1923 when he moved to Ramsey, Michigan.

In 1924 he was united in marriage to Loretta Armstrong also of Ramsey.

January 29, 1933 he took his own life in suicide, leaving his wife, three small children and a step-child, three sisters in Germany and one sister, Mrs. Chas. Ipson of Abbotsford, to mourn his untimely departure from this life.

Funeral services were held at Ironwood, Mich., Friday, Feb. 2nd with interment at Bessemer, Mich.
