Schottler, Emma (? 1872 - 12 FEB 1944)

A Requiem High Mass was sung for Mrs. Emma Schottler at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Withee at 9:00 o’clock Tuesday morning with Rev. Francis Brockman of Abbotsford officiating. She passed away at her homestead on Feb. 12.

Emma Feustel was born in Milwaukee in 1872. In 1898 she was married to Adam Schottler of Rockfield, Wis. Shortly after, they moved to the farm in the Town of Longwood where they lived until their death. Mrs. Schottler and her husband were among the early settlers here. Her husband and son, Clarence, preceded her in death.

She leaves to mourn a daughter, Mrs. Edward Mertens, and two grandchildren, Mary and Clarence, a sister, Mrs. Helen Koenen of Milwaukee, and three brothers, John of Milwaukee, Joseph of Sheboygan, and Matt of Fond du Lac, and many nieces and nephews.

She was a Charter Member of the Sacred Heart Church. Interment took place in Riverside cemetery.
