Norma M. Luepke, 94, formerly of Spencer, died on Saturday, June 14, 2008, at Golden Living Center Three Oaks, Marshfield. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., on Wednesday, June 18, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, North Spencer, and again on Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. The Rev. Rebekah Tarras and grandson, the Rev. Mark Luepke, will officiate. Grandsons and great-grandson will be pallbearers. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Norma Marie Clara Andre was born on April 17, 1914, in the town of Unity, to Robert and Anna (nee Zuehlke) Andre. She attended Willow Brook Elementary, at St. John’s Parochial School and graduated from Spencer High School in 1932. She married Emil Luepke on Sept. 26, 1934, at St. John’s Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her husband, Emil Luepke, Marshfield; children, Frank (Carol) Luepke, Sheldon, Iowa, David (Doreen) Luepke, Edgar, Cora (Tom) Wright, Concord, Calif., and Philip (Julie) Luepke, Stoddard; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert (Doris) Andre, Neenah; daughter-in-law, Carole Luepke, Marshfield; and sister-in-law Eleanore Luepke, Marshfield.
Preceding her in death were her parents; a son, Richard; and sisters Leota Schwantes, Cora Andre, Hilda Weber and Clara and Louise Andre in infancy.
