Adeline M. Kobs

Abbotsford, Wis. -- Adeline M. Kobs, 86, of Abbotsford, Wisconsin, died Monday, June 30, 2008, at Saint Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.

Funeral services for Adeline will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, July 3, 2008, at Christ Lutheran Church in Abbotsford, Wis. The Rev. Dr. Paul C. Hunsicker will officiate. Burial will be in Abbotsford Public Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church.

Adeline was born March 12, 1922, in Chicago, to Alexandrus and Catherine Bochnia. In 1951, Adeline married Marvin Kobs in Chicago. She worked as a production supervisor in telecommunications. After retirement she moved to Abbotsford and became the proud owner and operator of the Dirty Shame Saloon.

Adeline is survived by her three children, Ron Kaczmarek of Chicago, Arlette Bosch of Abbotsford, and Walter (Margo) Kobs of Wayne, Ill.; two grandchildren, Jennifer (Nathan) SanMartin and Christopher (Laura) Bosch; two great-grandchildren, Ryan SanMartin and A.J. Bosch; and one sister, Eleanor Zakrewski of Elgin, Ill.

Adeline was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Marvin in 1991; one sister and two brothers.

Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
