Long, John (1913? - 15 June 1917)
One of the most shocking tragedies in the history of this section of the state occurred shortly after midnight last Friday, June 15th, when the home of John Long on the eastern outskirts of the city was destroyed by fire and his wife and two children, Mary age 6, and John age 4, were trapped in the blazing building and burned to death.--Park Falls Herald
