Hart, Mary (10 Mar 1859 - 21 January 1946)

Mrs. Mary Hart, 86, passed away early Monday morning, January 21, 1946, at her home here after a short illness.

She is survived by her son, Harry with whom she made her home and one other son, Charles, who is in Miami, Fla.; four daughters, Mrs. (Alice) Lambert of Monroe City, Ind.; Mrs. H. (Anna) Perry of Chicago; Mrs. Will (Jenny) Bone of Evansville, and Mrs. Al (Iris) Walsh of South Bend, Ind. One daughter died in infancy. Her husband, Norman Hart, passed away 10 years ago last April. She also leaves to mourn her passing 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Mr. and Mrs. Hart were born in Canada and lived for some time in New York State. They came to Humbird many years ago and homesteaded a farm east of the village. They have lived in this vicinity ever since.

Mrs. Hart was a member of the Free Methodist Church, the Women’s Missionary Society, and of the Excelsior Club.

Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church Wednesday afternoon, with the Rev. E. J. Sachtjen delivering the sermon. Burial took place in Mentor Cemetery.
