My Grandfather was Gordon Lynn Senior who son Gordon and his sons (my cousins) to this day run Lynn Farms out of Unity Wisconsin. I was told that My Grandmother Rita Colby (Gordons Wife)one of 13 Children had a much older sister who was romanticly envolved with Joeseph Steinwand--And therefore Joeseph named his new cheese Colby as a compliment to the family before the turn of the 20th century
