Varney, Columbia (31 JAN 1831 - 8 JUL 1903)
Mrs. Columbia Varney was born in the state of New York Jan. 31, 1831, and died at the home of her daughter Mrs. James Payne, in Levis, Clark Co., Wis., July 8, 1903. Funeral services were held at the Dell’s Dam Church Friday, July 10th. Rev. G. W. Longenecker of Neillsville officiated. The body was buried in the Levis burial ground. Mrs. Varney leaves three children, Mrs. James Payne, and two sons, George and William.
