Wood, Joseph A. (28 December 1881 - 29 March 1946)

Funeral services for Joseph A. Wood, 64, were conducted Monday, April 1, at 3 p.m. from the Georgas Funeral Home. The Rev. F. A. Fahlgren officiated. Burial was made in the Neillsville Cemetery. He died Friday afternoon, March 29, (1946) in Eau Claire.

Joseph Wood was born December 28, 1881, to Joseph and Julia Wyker Wood. He was a lifelong resident of Clark County, where he engaged in farming in the Town of Hewett. He was unmarried.

He is survived by a brother, David (Jimmie), and a sister, Mrs. Ella Galbreath, both of Neillsville. Two sisters and a brother preceded him in death.

Pallbearers were: Albert Miller, Harley Palms, Harvey, John, Glen and Hugh Howard.
