Margaret Fildes, 75, of Elk River, Minn., formerly of Richfield, Minn., and Willard, died July 2, 2008, at Guardian Angel Nursing Home under hospice care.
She was born March 11, 1933, to John and Eva Smrecek of Willard. She married Ronald Fildes and he preceded her in death.
Surviving her are her son, Dennis (Brenda) Fildes, Andover, Minn.; two granddaughters; three brothers, John (Florence) Smrecek, Marshfield, Ralph (Betty) Smrecek, Greenwood, Tom (Marlene) Smrecek, Waconia, Minn.; four sisters, Jo Nelson, Richfield, Minn., Wilma Flaherty, Arizona, Tess (Howard) Fries, Minnesota, and Mary Ann (Chuck) Brinkmann, Marshfield; and a sister-in-law, Marian Smrecek.
