Mrs. Maude Brundage of Centralia, Wash., has written the Press of the death of her brother, Charles H. Sweetland on November 23, 1946. Mr. Sweetland was born in Greenwood in 1883, and was 63 years of age. Mrs. Brundage also reports that her mother, Mrs. Sweetland, died on Dec. 3, 1946.

I would like to point out that the last name on this article should be Southard, not Sweetland.

I am not sure what documentation you would need in order to process this correction. I have several documentations proving the name is Southard.

The Mrs. Sweetland in the article was my great great grandmother, Mrs. Roxanne Eldora Southard.

The Charles Sweetland in this article was Mrs. Roxanne Eldora Southard’s son, Charles Southard.

The woman reporting the death was the sister of Charles Southard and the daughter of Mrs. Roxanne Eldora Southard.
