Worchel, Arnold M. (6 SEP 1890 - 16 MAR 1947)

Funeral services for Arnold M. Worchel, 56, were held Wednesday afternoon, March 19, at Zion Evangelical and Reformed church, Granton. A brief service had previously been conducted at the Georgas Funeral Home, where the body had lain in state. The Rev. William A Lauterbach of Zion Church conducted the services. Burial was in the town of Grant Cemetery. Mr. Worchel died Sunday morning, March 16, 1947, at the Neillsville Hospital where he had been a patient only a short time.

Arnold Worchel, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Carl Worchel, was born Sept. 6, 1890 in the town of Grant. On June 14, 1916, he was married to Alma Reindel, whose death occurred Nov. 20, 1946. They lived on the home farm in the town of Grant until six years ago, when they moved to a farm in the town of York, the present home. His entire life was spent in Clark County.

Surviving are three children: Marvin of Green Bay, Russell of Milwaukee, and bonnie Rae at home. One son died in infancy. A brother, William of Spencer, and two sisters, Ida, Mrs. John Goebel of Milwaukee, and Lydia, Mrs. Edward Hillert of Greenwood, survive. One sister is deceased.
