Pitt, Billie Jean #2 (23 MAR 1947)

A double wedding was held at the Grace Methodist Church in Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.) on Sunday, March 23, 1947, at 2 p.m., when Bette Lou Marden and Billie Jean Pitt, granddaughters of Mr. and Mrs. William Marden of Greenwood, were united in marriage to Glen and John Howard, formerly of Iowa. Rev. Lee Holmes officiated.

Miss Bette Lou Marden, who married Glen Howard, wore a gown of satin and white net and a fingertip veil. Billie Jean, who married John Howard, was dressed in a gown of white satin with a fingertip veil. Both girls carried shower bouquets of white roses.

The mothers and Mrs. William Marden wore corsages of pink and white carnations, and the men in the wedding party wore white carnation boutonnieres.

Miss Marden was a graduate of the Greenwood High School with the class of 1946, and Miss Pitt graduated from Weyauwega High School in 1946.
