Goetzka, Iva (Marriage - 2 February 1946)

The wedding of Miss Iva Goetzka, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Goetzka of Warrens, and Stephen Kosmosky, son of Mrs. Agnes Kosmosky, Neillsville route 4, was solemnized Saturday, February 2, at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Knapp. The Rev. G. Geiger officiated.

The bride wore a white satin and net wedding gown with a finger tip veil. She carried a bouquet of white carnations. The couple was attended by Miss Lila Goetzka, sister of he bride, and Raymond Strozewski.

The bride is a graduate of the Black River Falls High School, class of 1942, and the groom received his discharge from the army in November, 1945, following service since June, 1941.

Following the ceremony a dinner was served at the home of the bride’s parents to about 32 guests.
