Ferguson, Wanda (Marriage - 10 March 1946)

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Poler, newlyweds, are spending their honeymoon in Michigan and West Bend, Ind.

The couple was married Sunday, March 10, at 12 p.m. at the Zion Evangelical and Reformed church parsonage. The Rev. N. J. Dechant officiated at the double ring ceremony.

The bride is the former Wanda Ferguson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Ferguson of Granton. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Poler of Neillsville.

For her wedding the bride wore a blue suit and carried a bouquet of narcissi and irises. Her attendant was her sister, Miss Shirley Ferguson. The groom’s attendant was Frank Rizner.

Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents.

The bride and groom are both graduates of the Neillsville High School. Mrs. Poler was formerly employed at the A & P Store in Neillsville. The groom is engaged in farming.

The couple will make their home on the William Poler farm.
