He is survived by his wife, the former Ada Wing of Neillsville, two daughters, Rosada and Bobbette, both of whom are married and reside in Milwaukee, and one grandson.

Robert F. Zschernitz, son of the late Carl and Rose Zschernitz, was born in 1880 in Hamburg, Germany. When he was about twelve years of age he came with his parents to the U.S. They settled in Clark County, where all his early life was spent. He worked for many years as a mason, and about 22 years ago moved with his family to Milwaukee, where he has since resided.

They went to Milwaukee to attend the funeral services and returned to Neillsville on Wednesday. A brother, Henry of Neillsville, died about 10 years ago, and a sister, Martha, died in Chicago in January 1947.
