Neitzel, William (30 JUN 1858 - 28 MAY 1947)

William Neitzel, 90, for many years a resident of Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), until the death of his wife about two years ago, died on May 28, 1947, at the home of a daughter in Tulare, S.D. Funeral services were held Saturday at Marshfield and burial took place in that city. The Rev. Arthur R. Oates of the Presbyterian Church in Marshfield, was the officiating pastor.

Mr. Neitzel was born June 30, 1858, in Germany. He came to America as a youth and in 1880 moved to Loyal. He was married at Loyal to Minnie Ehlert. He had served as supervisor and chairman of the board in the town of Loyal. Surviving are six children: Max and Hattie, Mrs. William Kleinschmidt of Loyal; Minnie, Mrs. Albert Neitzel of Tulare, S.D., with whom he had made his home the past two years; Robert of Newall, Iowa; Mrs. Cora Beckfield, Pomeroy, Iowa; Eppie of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

There are 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
