In a service performed by the Rev. William A. Lauterbach at the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Granton (Clark Co., Wis.), on July 5, 1947, Miss Katherine Elizabeth Neitzer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Neitzer, Sr., of Wabeno, became the bride of Robert Herman Schlinsog, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Schlinsog, Granton, route 3. The double ring ceremony was read at 2 p.m.

The bride was attended by Miss Arlyne Schlinsog, sister of the groom, and the best man was Theodore Schlinsog, cousin of the groom. For her wedding the bride chose a gray suit,a nd her flowers were yellow and pink roses made into a corsage.

A reception for 50 guests was held at the home of the groom’s parents. House decorations were in pink and white. The couple left for a wedding trip to various parts of the state of Wisconsin.

Relatives from out of town were: Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Neitzer, Sr., of Wabeno, parents of the bride; Martin Neitzer and daughter, Rose Mary, of Carter Joseph Neitzer, Wabeno; Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Krause of Dalton; Mr. and Mrs. William Reinhart, Unity; Mr. and Mrs. Winifred D. Johnson, Black River Falls.
