Marth, Frank D. (20 MAR 1876 - 4 AUG 1947)

Funeral services for Frank D. Marth, 71, will be conducted this afternoon (Thursday) at 2 p.m. from the Georgas Funeral Home, with the Rev. William A. Baumann officiating. Burial will be made in the North Pine Valley Cemetery. Mr. Marth died at his home on North Grand Av., Aug. 4, 1947. He had been ill for about a year.

The deceased was born in the town of Pine Valley on March 20, 1876, to Albert and Augusta (Klueckman) Marth, and had been a long time resident of Clark Co. Mr. Marth was employed in the logging camps in Wisconsin, in the harvest fields in Montana and South Dakota, and at the railway telegraph agency in Montana. He had also worked in a toy factory in Minneapolis.

He is survived by his wife; Mrs. Bertha (Bach) Marth, whom he married while in Minneapolis; one brother, Joe Marth of Neillsville; two sisters, Mrs. Fred (Pauline) Ackerman, also of Neillsville, and Mrs. Carl (Bertha) Pauphal of Merrill.
