Peterson, Marian #2 (25 Jul 1942)

Morvin Benedict, son of Mr. and Mrs. Will Benedict of York, and Miss Marian Peterson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Peterson of Loyal, were quietly married at the Methodist parsonage in Loyal Saturday evening at 8:30 o’clock. The Rev. Myron E. Taylor performed the ceremony.

The bride’s gown was of powder blue silk crepe trimmed, with point lace. She wore a beautiful string of pearls, a gift of the groom.

They were attended by Dorothy Kronberger, as bridesmaid, and Harvey Benedict, as best man.

The men wore dark suits, with carnation boutonnieres.

After the ceremony they returned to York Center, where a shower was given them by a large number of friends and neighbors.

They will make their home with the groom’s parents for a short time.

We wish them much luck and happiness in their married life.
