Hintz, Lena (1870 - 1956)

Funeral services for Mrs. Gust Hintz of Abbotsford, Wisconsin, who died at the Havenet Nursing Home at Owen at the age of 85 years, were held Saturday afternoon at the Zink Funeral Home, Rev. F. H. Sprengler officiating. Burial was made in the St. John’s cemetery at Hika.

Mrs. Hintz, the former Lena Grundmier, was born on February 14, 1870. Surviving are her husband of Abbotsford; three step children, Herbert Hintz of Sheboygan, Mrs. Oscar Nelson and Mrs. William Neal, both of Los Angeles, Calif., a brother, William Grundmier of Sycamore, Ohio; one grand son, Eugene Dassler and two great grand children of Hika.

She was preceded in death by her first husband in 1925. Two sons by that marriage, Alfred and Roland Dassler, and four sisters are also deceased.
