Zimmer, Cornelia (3 Sept. 1883 - 29 Jan. 1956)

Mrs. Robert Zimmer, age 72, who lived alone at Stevens Point, was found dead in bed at her home January 29. Funeral services were held February 2 at the Rosenow-Moore Funeral Home. Eastern Star services were also held there. Internment will be made in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery in spring.

Mrs. Zimmer, the former Cornelia Greve, was born in Unity September 3, 1883. When she was six years old, the family moved to Abbotsford, Wis. She attended grade school in Abbotsford and high school in Colby, Wis. She was employed in stores in Abbotsford, Rib Lake and Reedsfield. On January 3, 1936, she married Robert Zimmer at Thorp and since that time lived at Stevens Point. Mr. Zimmer, a Soo Line engineer, was killed in a collision of a freight train and gasoline truck at Cadott May 26, 1949.

Surviving are a brother, Ronald E. Greve, of Seattle, Wash., three step sons and seven grand children.

Mrs. Hugo Brehm of Colby, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Strathman, Mrs. George Barber and Miss Althea Rilling of Abbotsford attended the funeral of Mrs. Cornelia Greve Zimmer at Stevens Point Wednesday.
