Olson, Morris (1878? - 17 May 1956)

Friends at Curtiss were notified of the deaths of two former residents of the Curtiss community - Morris Olson, age 78, and Louis Schroeder, age 72.

Funeral rites were held Monday at Stockbridge for Mr. Olson who died May 17 at his home in Hilbert where he lived for over 40 years. He was born and raised on a farm in the town of Mayville, just north of Curtiss, which is now owned by his nephew. Survivors include two brothers, Oluf of Neillsville and Fred of Cherokee.

Mr. Schroeder, who formerly lived in Curtiss, died May 10th at his home in Appleton. He is survived by his wife, four daughters and two brothers, Frank and Edward Schroeder, both of Marshfield.
