JAMES VANDEHEY, MERNABELLE LAABS LEADERS OF PROM FRIDAY

Armory Is Being Elaborately Decorated For Gala Event

The Abbotsford Armory is quickly being transferred into the scene of a ballroom carnival, with serpentine and crepe paper hanging and balloons flying - - in preparation for the Junior prom which is to be held Friday evening, April 27th. Committees are working every available minute so as to complete the transformation.

The grand march is to be led by James Vandehey, prom chairman, and Mernabelle Laabs. They will be followed by other class officers or chairmans of committees and their partners - - Evelyn Fahrenbach, Senior class president, Marcia Blank, Junior Vice President, Ione Rusk, Junior secretary, Leona Daellenbach, Senior Secretary, Merle Jenks, Chairman of decorations, Kathryn Dolan, Chairman of music, and August Luhrson, chairman of publicity. Guests will form in line in back of the chosen couples.

During the evening lunch will be served at a booth in one corner of the Armory by Irene Kadonsky, Ruth Smith, Marian Kuehnast, Loraine Moen, Irene Papenfuss and Loraine Hanson.

The price of the dance will be 75c a couple and 25c for spectators.

The class has been assisted in their preparations by Mrs. Blake and Miss Ganfield.
