Baudry, Christine (Marriage - 1946?)

Word has been received in Neillsville of the marriage of Leo Young to a French girl, Christine Baudry, at Herzfeld, Germany. Mr. Young is well known in Neillsville, having made his home here with his parents until they moved to Bettendorf, Ia., about four years ago.

Cpl. Young met his bride at Herzfeld, where she was a worker for UNRRA. A year after their meeting he returned to Herzfeld on furlough and they were married at the Catholic Chapel.

Cpl. Young served 17 months in Europe with the anti-tank company of the 311th infantry regiment. His bride formerly made her home at Quimper, France.
