Arthur G. Fritsche

DORCHESTER -- Arthur G. Fritsche, 85, of Dorchester, formerly of Little Black, died in the Emergency Room of Saint Joseph's Hospital on Sunday, July 27, 2008.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Stetsonville. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church. Hemer Funeral Service is assisting the family with arrangements.

He was born April 4, 1923, in Little Black to Henry and Irene (Rhyner) Fritsche. He married Elaine Niemuth on Aug. 4, 1945. Arthur was a 30-year employee at the Taylor County Highway Department until his retirement.

He is survived by his wife, Elaine Fritsche, Dorchester; sons, Steve (Carolyn) Fritsche, Milwaukee, and Tom (Sue) Fritsche, Antigo; six grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and seven step-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Arlene Decker, Chippewa Falls, and Beverly Hoffman, Stetsonville.
