Zoellner, Richard Theodore (20 November 1941 - 31 July 2008)

Richard (Dick) Theodore Zoellner, 66, Stratford, died Thursday, July 31, 2008, at Marshfield Care Center.

Richard was born November 20, 1941, in Marshfield to Theodore "Whitey" and Helen (Aschebrock) Zoellner. He graduated from Stratford High School and served in the U. S. Air Force from January 1961 to November 1964. He married Mary Jane Bohman August 20, 1966, and they later divorced.

He is survived by his mother of Strafford; children, Scott (Tammy) Zoellner and their son, Kyle, of Glendale, AZ, USAF Master Sgt. Steve (Heather) Zoellner and their daughters, Zoe and Stevie Ann, of Goodyear, AZ and Shane Zoellner, Suzanne Zoellner and her son, Jagger, all of Kansas City, MO. He is further survived by siblings, Marjorie (Elmer) Hayes and Fred (Carol) Zoellner, all of Stratford, Jeanne (Quin) Grosskopf of Wausau and James Zoellner of Des Moines, IA; and nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

He was predeceased by his father and sister-in-law, LaVonne (Schultz) Zoellner.

A memorial service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday, August 22, 2008, at Zion Lutheran Church, Stratford, with visitation from 8 a.m. until the service begins. Richard’s ashes will be laid to rest at 2:30 p.m. at Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery located at N4063 Veterans Way, Spooner WI.
