Worden (26 Aug. 1901)

We had a fine rain last night.

Mr. Burg moved to this place last week.

Mrs. John Stong has been on the sick list.

Mr. Jay Henderson lost a fine black mare today.

Lee Palmer and wife visited with Perry Palmer last Sunday.

Hannah Western was visiting with Mrs. James Henderson last week.

Johnnie Patten has finished his well, he has struck a fine vein of water.

Lee Henderson and Reuben Stong enjoyed a fine time at Thorp last Saturday night.

Danial Cripe and wife of Stanley were visiting with their folks in this place last week.

Mr. Fred Shilts had the misfortune to saw several of his fingers off on a small table leg saw.

Mrs. Mitchel Hammon entertained about 20 ladies at her home last Tuesday. Ice cream was served and all had an enjoyable time.
