Baneck, Bernice (19 SEP 1942)

Miss Bernice Baneck, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Baneck of Watermeet, Mich., became the bride of Herman Shade, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bredlau of Loyal, late last Saturday afternoon, Sept. 19, in the parsonage of St. Paul’s Evangelical church, Wausau, in a ceremony performed by the Rev. E. C. Grauer.

The bride wore a street dress of blue velvet, with a matching velvet headdress with peach colored veil, and a corsage of peach colored roses and white pompoms. Her only attendant, Miss Ione Haufschildt, wore a green wool ensemble and a corsage of yellow roses and white pompoms.

Following the ceremony, the bridal couple and their attendants had dinner at the West Side hotel, Wausau.
