Kutsche, Ruth (Marriage - 1 May 1948)

St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Neillsville was the scene at 9 a.m. May 1 (1948) of the nuptial mass and wedding of Miss Ruth Kutsche, daughter of Sheriff and Mrs. Ray Kutsche of Neillsville, to Edward Rychnovsky, son of Mrs. Caroline Rychnovsky of Neillsville. Reverend John Pritzl, pastor of St. Mary’s performed the double ring ceremony in the presence of immediate relatives of the bride and groom.

The bride wore a white satin entrained gown, with a net yoke, lace trimmed and a peplum edged in lace. Her long veil was caught to a seed pearl headdress, and was edged with lace heart inserts. She carried a bouquet of calla lilies. Mr. and Mrs. Tony Rychnovsky, of Junction City, brother and sister-in-law of the groom, bore the honors of best man and matron of honor, and the other attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Albert Meske of Marshfield. The matron of honor and the bridesmaid wore matching gowns of satin and net, one in pink and one in blue and carried carnations.

Following the wedding a reception was held at the home of the bride for twenty-five guests. The table was decorated with pink, blue and white streamers, centering in a white bell.

The bride has been working at the Court House as register of probate, and the groom is a partner in the new Rychnovsky garage of Neillsville. Mr. and Mrs. Rychnovsky left for a wedding trip into northern Wisconsin, and will be at home in Neillsville May 10.

Out of town guests at the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Rychnovsky of Marshfield, brother and sister-in-law of the groom.
