Laura, Cora and George Kocker and Walter Harting, who have been visiting at the home of Aug. Acker for the past week, returned to their home at Milwaukee Monday morning.

Mrs. John Redwine spent Thanksgiving at Owen with her daughter, Mrs. Pat Crowley.

Ed Anderson returned home from Britton, S.D. on Tuesday.

Olga and Mattie Anderson were pleasantly surprised Thursday evening by the young folks of this community. The evening was passed very pleasantly in dancing and playing games.

Miss Angela Matteson gave a program in the schoolhouse Wednesday evening. The pupils were well trained and those who didn't attend missed a rare treat.

Mr. Erkie and family from Greenwood have moved into the Hughes house.

A party was given at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Aug. Acker Saturday evening. All had a very pleasant time.

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Christianson ate Thanksgiving dinner with Mr. and Mrs. John Scovel.
