Arndt, Genevieve (Franz) (6 Aug. 1938 - 15 June 2008)

Genevieve Arndt, 69, Marshfield, Wisconsin, died on Sunday, June 15, 2008, at her home under the care of Ministry Home Care Hospice.

She was born on August 6, 1938, in the Town of Warner, Clark County to William and Dorothy (Markee) Franz. Genevieve graduated from Owen-Withee High School in 1960.

She married Lee Kenyon, Sr. on June 29, 1963 and was later divorced.

Genevieve then married Kenneth Arndt on August 20, 2005.

She worked at the Marshfield Canning Company and did home care. Genevieve and her husband made quilts that were sent to Katrina victims and down to Mexico.

She was a member of Believers Church in Marshfield.

Genevieve is survived by her husband, Ken; children Lee (Susan) Kenyon, Jr., Lawrenceburg, KY, Dorothy (Robert) Leins, Abbotsford, Judy Kenyon, Rib Lake and Wesley (Jenny) Kenyon, Weston; eleven grandchildren; two sisters, Beatrice Rue, Abbotsford and Annette Franz, Owen; two brothers, Charles (Jackie) Franz, Colby and William (Carol) Franz, Colby, Wis.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Robertson.

Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements. There will be memorial services at a later date.
