Jacob Henry, 18, Evansville, formerly of Greenwood, died on Saturday, Aug, 16, 2008, at his home. A memorial visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until noon on Saturday, Aug. 23, at the Greenwood High School cafetorium.
Jacob Albert Henry was born on Dec. 10, 1989, in Janesville, to Chester and Gail (nee Flood) Henry. He attended and graduated from Greenwood High School on May 17, 2008. He was presently living with his grandmother in Evansville while attending Madison Media Institute to study recording and music technology. His wish to attend this school stemmed from his experiences in the high school band. He played saxophone and eventually played on of his few bass saxophones in the United States. He had a great love for his dogs, particularly Dusty; they had many wrestling matches whenever he was home. He loved football and backed whatever team was winning at the time and was passionate about wrestling.
Survivors include his parents, Chester and Gail Henry, Greenwood; his grandmother, Marcia Flood; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and his very special friend, Arin, whom he considered his brother.
Ward Funeral Home, Evansville, is assisting the family with arrangements.
