Sommerlund, Hilda (Marriage - 5 June 1948)

St. John’s Catholic Church in Marshfield was the scene of the wedding on June 5, 1948 of Miss Hilda Sommerlund, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hans Sommerlund, Granton, R2, and Robert J. Stockheimer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Stockheimer of Dancy, R2.

The bride wore a gown of white satin with a sweetheart neckline and long, pointed sleeves. Her finger-tip veil was edged in lace which matched the lace on her gown. Her bridal bouquet consisted of red roses.

The bride’s attendants were Miss Annamay Kerske and Miss Irene Sommerlund.

The bridegroom was attended by his brothers Thomas and William Stockheimer.
