Wussow, Mr./Mrs. Bruce (Golden - May 3, 1958)

Bruce and Dorie Wussow, Stratford, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Sunday, May 4, 2008.

They began the day with attending St. John’s Lutheran Church, Edgar, with their children and their spouses and grandchildren. A son, "It’s A Time For Joy," was sung by soloists Mary Wussow and Kelly Jo (Wussow) Johannessen. All the granddaughters joined in on the chorus.

In the afternoon a gathering was held at the Frankfort Town Hall. The celebration was attended by their children and spouses, grandchildren, their siblings and spouses and few close friends. Original wedding attendants present were Betty (Wussow) Bauer, Wisconsin Rapids, Irene (Haas) Smazal, Unity, Ken Hamann, Wausau, and Sally (Schultz) Heindl, Colby, Wis.

Bruce and Dorie (Haas) were married May 3, 1958, at Zion Lutheran Church, Colby, Wis. They are blessed with seven children and 17 grand children; Kim (Don) Stroud and Ali, Sandy, Utah; Gary (Mary) Wussow and Kacie, Jay and Meg, Edgar; Janna (Russ) Barkow and Brad and Beth, Milan; Jill (Dan) Koerner and Amanda, Austin and Aaron, Colby; Troy (Kelly) Wussow and Jenny, Derek, Jon and Katie, Edgar; Tom (Lisa) Wussow and Lindsey, Marissa and Taylor, Stratford; and Kelly Jo (Joe) Johannessen and Kira, Sandy, Utah.
